Redacted Files #28
Pirex ETH launches on Goerli, Pirex CVX continues to see growth, DFX launches a Hidden Hand market, and more.
Welcome to the Redacted Files, a newsletter that covers the latest in the ██████ ecosystem.
Pirex ETH Launches on Testnet
The wait is over: Pirex ETH is – finally – live on Goerli testnet! It comes with a new, slick website, some documentation, and whitepaper. This is a huge milestone on the road to the phased Dinero launch. Pirex ETH can be expected on mainnet ████™. In the meantime, check out the testnet user guide here and mint your own Goerli pxETH here.
P.s. if you find bugs, typos in the UI, or have feedback please get in touch.
P.p.s. make sure to share tf out of the announcement.
Pirex Updates
On the other side of Pirex world, things are chugging along as usual:
Even with the recent changes to vlCVX staking, Pirex CVX is still receiving large deposits and TVL now sits at 3.4M CVX.
Pirex GMX is still a slow mover, but the good news is that multiplier points are up only and currently sit at 59.93%. So if you’re bullish on GMX in the long term… Pirex GMX is a good place to sit.
Also, we’ve heard the feedback about the pxGMX peg and are working on a fix. However, once the fix is deployed it will require a manual migration for Pirex GMX depositors. We’ll be sure to make an announcement when the time comes.
Hidden Hand Updates
Last week Hidden Hand welcomed DFX, a decentralized foreign exchange protocol, as a new partner. Stablecoin issuers can now increase their liquidity on the DFX AMM by bribing veDFX holders. Share the announcement here.
████ Highlights
The thirtieth rlBTRFLY rewards distribution happened on 10/3/23. Be sure to claim rewards and relock BTRFLY here.
If you missed last week’s community call, you can catch it here. We hosted a demo that walks through the new Dinero website and Pirex ETH dapp interface.
Things have been chill on the governance front. A proposal to whitelist RATE on Hidden Hand just passed on Snapshot, and a proposal to whitelist CADC—an early briber for DFX–should be on Snapshot soon.
