Welcome, Redactooors, to the inaugural [REDACTED] Files Newsletter!

This is the best place to keep up to speed with the Protocol and the community that surrounds it. It's a full-time job to keep a finger on the pulse of DeFi, and especially for a project like Redacted. Our aim here is to deliver all the relevant news and happenings to your inboxes so that you can stay informed, rest easy and continue to 3,3 & chill (and migrate to our future model when it’s ready - don’t worry, we’ll warn you).

Where have we come from?

With so much that has happened in the last few months inside Redacted, it's hard not to go into a big history lesson here. Don't worry though, we will be covering a lot of content related to important past milestones, and the next iteration of DeFi and the Liquidity Wars in the coming editions of [REDACTED] Files

The Redacted Radio has been doing a great job with this, and, let's be honest, It’s “way easier” to understand when Funky Bot goes into one of those long explanations (we won't lie, everyone listens to it a few times over just to get a grasp). This newsletter will be the place to catch up on the community and keep up to date on whats happening inside the protocol. You can also check out the links to dive deeper into what makes this space special!

Contributor Program Launch

Are you interested in getting involved with [REDACTED]?

We have launched a Contributor Program, making it easy for YOU to contribute. Redacted has brought together a growing community of some of the most fun, creative and forward-thinking anons in DeFi.

We had a bunch of contributors in the “V1” era of Redacted and now that the season has changed, so has the ways and opportunities for the community to take part. The culture of Redacted has a !vibe, and it's because of the efforts of our contributors who have chosen to come along for the ride. Don't be shy!

The program is split into 2 sections:

Bounty Board - One-off tasks, tightly scoped, and often single-player work. Open to anyone in the community. With bounties, the most aligned submissions will be rewarded, so it's important to put your best effort forward. Done in a Kanban style, this is where the bounties will be posted. Also, you can use this space to suggest ideas for future content. Paid out with BTRFLY rewards at the end of the epoch, on chain using Dework

Projects - Longer duration, mostly collaborative, and more complex work. Projects are open for anyone to submit their interest, but will be looped in based on project demands.

Paid out at the end of the epoch using Coordinape.

We had a Community Call (Jan 29th 2022) to discuss the rollout of the Contributor Program, so catch up and listen to the ways in which you can take part.

Curve War is Good for Business

Upon launching less than 3 months ago, [REDACTED] has set out to establish a significant position in the Curve Wars, and is now the 3rd largest holder of CVX, behind only Badger and Frax. Despite a fickle macro environment, the Cartel has no plans to let off the gas anytime soon.
